Updating windows 95 to 98
Look on the base directory of the CD on the floppy that would have been supplied with the machine or hardware. To do this just simply put a tick into CD-ROM driver and/or Floppy disk drives and then click next.
The first place to look would be on the driver CD or floppy disk if supplied.Follow the directions in this section if you have upgraded your computer from Windows 95 to Windows 98 or if you are a Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 user and wish to update your printer driver from a previous version.If you have upgraded your computer's operating system from Windows 95 to Windows 98, you must uninstall your printer software and then install it again. When you update the printer driver in Windows 2000 and NT 4.0, please be sure to uninstall the previous printer driver before you install the new driver.If you fail to find the driver on the base directory of the disk then you will have to try Specify a Location and then select browse, this allows you to select the drive and/or folder that the driver maybe in.You will find that the driver you are looking for is in a folder that maybe called ENG, DRIVERS, WIN98, WIN95, or ENGLISH, these being the most popular of choices.
